Peter has played rugby from a young age, and he was fortunate to play 10 years of professional rugby. In his career, he discovered that different teams have different scrum techniques. He has picked up a lot of scrum knowledge, and now he is sharing his knowledge to the youth and future rugby players of the world. Peter has world class scrummaging knowledge. The scrum is the most technical area of rugby, and having an individual coach is very important for a team’s safety and success.

Today’s topics include:

  • Rugby has been called the most dangerous team sport in the world
  • How sport can help unite people even in South Africa
  • Should there be more teams and a longer rugby season
  • 16 men smashing their heads with fist and knees everywhere
  • A scrum happens about 30 times per match
  • When people think of rugby they think of the scrum
  • The teams lockup and try to push the opposition as a unit
  • The importance of technique and little changes make a huge difference
  • The biggest scrum error that teams are making
